Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain for the US women's Olympic gymnastics the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as in 2016. The Final Five. In the 2012 Olympics she won gold on both the team floor as well as the individual events. Bronze was taken by using the balance bar. In 2012 she was the first American athlete to earn the highest number of medals in the Olympics. She won the gold for team at the 2016 Olympics and was her as well as Gabby Douglas the first Americans to win back-to-back golds. She also won two silver medals in the floor exercise and individual all-around. Between the two Olympics she had taken off from gymnastics competition for three years. She also was one of the gold medal winning American squads at two World Championships. Aly began gymnastics lessons at age 2 and loves the floor workout. Aly contributes towards the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. She plans to pursue the field of fashion, and is looking to increase her signature line of leotards as well as socks in the future. Fierce, a new book she's working on, will be released later in the year.
